FAE is the SNAP E&T (food stamps) provider for Washington County. The SNAP E&T Coordinator works with SNAP E&T clients to ensure they are compliant with requirements associated with receiving food stamps. Candace Erbe has served as the program's part-time SNAP E&T Coordinator since March 2019. During the 2021-2022 school year, Candy split her time between SNAP E&T Coordinator and Office Manager (administrative assistant) positions. For the 2022-2023 school year, Candy will spend all of her time as Office Manager, which means we need to hire another part-time SNAP E&T Coordinator. Job Duties: 1.Provide services to SNAP E&T participants; 2. Be knowledgeable of adult education services and supportive programs for participants; 3. Participate in mandatory training - SNAP E&T, SNAP Works (database), TABE 11/12, LACES (student database), and Career Service Provider (CSP); 4. Maintain hard-copy client files - SNAP E&T intake, adult education intake form (copy), assessment record(s), case notes, employment plan, reimbursement(s), work experience (if applicable), follow-up, and interest inventory (all DHS forms relative to client); 5. Case management; 6. Increase the number of volunteers participating in SNAP E&T; 7. May perform duties in adult education if part of the program's regular budget and/or during slow periods. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a bachelor's degree. This is a part-time position for 18 hours a week. This is a one year position (employment is dependent on continued yearly funded of the SNAP E&T program).
